At Home with Benjamina Ebuehi

The Waitrose & Partner’s At Home family continues to grow as we welcome food stylist and recipe writer Benjamina Ebuehi to the team.

Benjamina found her way into the food industry after appearing on The Great British Bake Off in 2016. She made it all the way to the quarter finals and hasn’t look back since. Her debut cookbook, The New Way to Cake was published in 2019, and she has followed that in 2022 with A Good Day to Bake.

Here Benjamina bakes her malted brown butter loaf cake, which is heavy with butter for a dense but moist sponge, while talking about her love of being creative in the kitchen and how her Nigerian roots have taught her all about bold, vibrant food that is packed with flavour.
