BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises | Pre event coverage

In March, P&O Cruises announced their multi-year partnership with the BAFTA Television Awards.

The leading British cruise brand will be the headline sponsor of the awards for the next three years, a perfect fit for two iconic brands who know a thing or two about showstopping entertainment.

As part of the partnership P&O Cruises will launch the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award, the only award voted for by members of the viewing public. The award will honour the impact of television in the UK which has the power to entertain, inform and bring the nation together.

Since the announcement, we have been working with the brand to optimise the impact of this sponsorship across their social media channels. On Sunday our team will be at the awards to capture all the action from the red carpet and beyond, interviewing celebrities and winners, as well as special guests, VIPs and competition winners invited to the event by P&O Cruises themselves.

In the run up to the big event this week, we have produced a number of videos to drive excitement and anticipation.

We were able to reveal the trophy that will be presented to the lucky winners of the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award, which sees the famous BAFTA mask turned for the very first time into the brand’s signature shade of blue. And put together a reminder of the six moments that are shortlisted.

We also announced that the host of P&O Cruises BAFTA TV Awards coverage will be Sara Cox. After the amazing job she did of co-hosting Arvia’s Caribbean naming ceremony, she is the perfect person for the role:
