P&O Cruises | Get to know our Food Heroes
We have produced a series of videos for P&O Cruises to help customers get to know Arvia’s Food Heroes better.
The four strong team – Olly Smith, Shivi Ramoutar, José Pizarro and Kjartan Skjelde – will work to bring innovative, delicious menus and exclusive foodie experiences on board. The best way to explore a destination is to try the dishes that tell stories of the history, culture and lives of the locals, and therefore the Food Heroes reflect the places where Arvia will sail during her maiden year. Norwegian chef Kjartan Skjelde will offer local dishes at The Epicurean, while restaurateur and author José Pizarro will bring his authentic taste of Spain. Shivi Ramoutar, dubbed the Queen of Contemporary Caribbean Cooking, will be bringing her unique, fresh and colourful recipes to Arvia during her maiden season in the Caribbean. While Olly Smith has been providing wine expertise to the brand with his award winning collection of Glass House wine bars across the fleet for many years.
We brought all four of these brilliant talents together for a coffee and a chat to talk travel, food and flavour. We then let them challenge each other to a series of quick fire Q&A questions covering their memorable cruise moments and their dream dinner dates.
