The Chefs’ Chefs nominated for new digital award

Our recent series, The Chefs’ Chefs, has been nominated for a Broadcast Digital Award.

Produced for HuffPost UK, the 10-part original series glimpsed into the prestigious, exclusive world of some of the best restaurants on the planet. Each episode saw a different high-profile chef taking on a pilgrimage to a restaurant that has either inspired, informed, or simply excited them. From Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall visiting his idol Niklas Ekstedt at his eponymous restaurant, to best mates Paul Ainsworth and Tom Kerridge talking inspiration at Tom’s The Hand and Flowers Michelin-starred pub. The result was an unashamedly voyeuristic insight into what it takes to create the best food in the world.

This year’s award’s shortlist reflects the changing face of British broadcasting with several new short-form categories being introduced. The Chefs’ Chefs nomintation comes in the category of Best Short Form Format against strong contenders from Vice UK and BBC Three.

The award ceremony will take place in London on 4 July. Here is a reminder of the series’ trailer:
