The Roux Scholarship 2022

The winner of The Roux Scholarship 2022 was named last night at an exclusive awards dinner at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

Founded in 1984 by Michel Roux with his brother Albert the prestigious competition has changed the lives of hundreds of chefs since its inception in 1983, with its competitors and winners going on to change the landscape of the British dining.

The final cook-off, held at Westminster Kingsway College, was presided over by this year’s Honorary President of Judges Hélène Darroze, whose restaurant at The Connaught in London holds three Michelin stars. The winner was then announced at the dinner in front of a small audience comprising of the finalists’ guests, sponsors and judges.

This year’s victorious chef was Jonnie Ferguson from The Glenturrey Lalique.
