Waitrose Facebook Live | Pancake Day

We had the pleasure this week of working with Waitrose to produce their first ever Facebook Live video. The 40 minute long broadcast, was streamed live on Pancake Day from the Waitrose King’s Cross Cookery School. Hosted by presenter, food writer and Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite, the show was an interactive masterclass on how to make perfect pancakes.

John was joined by Waitrose Cookery School Head Chef, Eleni Tzirki, and her team, Russell Goad, Jack Homer and Leyli Homayoonfar. During the broadcast the chefs demonstrated how to cook classic pancakes, as well as gluten free and dairy free options, and Crêpe Suzette. The showstopping finale, a giant stack of pancakes, was voted on by viewers, who were able to choose the filling, sauce and toppings.

Everything went brilliantly on the day, and the video has now had nearly 250,000 views. Watch it here:
